    Is there an option somewhere so I can turn of hot code replacement. I keep getting an error when I change some code because it try to hot deploy it, and I don’t want it to do that.

    You can just check the “Don’t show this again” box at the bottom of that dialog that keeps popping up. Otherwise, just run Tomcat in “Run” mode, when it’s in Debug mode, the debugger is doing the hot code replace.
