I have noticed recent behavior that after I can only have 6 or 7 files open before random (as far as I can tell) closings. I have looked thru all the preferences and can’t seem to find where to change that.
Was this introduced in the latest release, and has anyone else seen this?

This is an eclipse setting – nothing to do with MyEclipse and we don’t interfere with it in any way.
Go to Window > Preferences >General > Editors
See the “Close editors automatically” and “Number of opened editors before closing” settings.Hope this helps,
