I use to use the XDoclet feature w/MyEclipse which worked great until we started using generics in Java 5. XDoclet didn’t like those too well, so I manually created my interfaces after creating my EJB. With EJB 3.0, is MyEclipse positioned well enough to support the new spec so that it won’t have to use XDoclet anymore?
Concerning XDoclet and Java5, in MyEclipse 4.1, you can configure XDoclet to work with Java5 by going to project properites > MyEclipse-XDoclet > Build and set the Java Language support to JDK 5.0.
Regarding EJB3, we are constantly looking at new technologies and projects that support EJB3 development. So we have EJB3 support on the radar and will support it in the future.
