    When I create a web project, I receive the following error:

    Creation of element failed.

    org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.wizards.buildpaths.BuildPathsBlock.createProject(
    Lorg/eclipse/core/resources/IProject;Lorg/eclipse/core/runtime/IPath;
    Lorg/eclipse/core/runtime/IProgressMonitor;)V

    I’ve installed:

    Eclipse Platform
    Version: 3.2.0
    Build id: I20060419-1640

    MyEclipse
    Version: 4.1.1

    This quite frustrating, thus any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    jtp51,
    MyEclipse doesn’t have a version that is compatible wtih Eclipse 3.2 yet (We will have MyEclipse 5.0 out around the time 3.2 goes final though, so you shouldn’t have to wait long), that is the problem. Please install Eclipse 3.1.2 and then use Help > Software Upates > Manage Configuration, to add a new extension point and point at your existing MyEclipse dir, that should load it right up.

    Riyad: well, I feel kinda dumb – I just found that on your web site.

    Thank you!

    No problem, there is a lot of information to digest.
