I have an ear with 3 war modules trying to deploy to WAS 6. My application is maven compliant. Whenever I try to deploy I get a popup box which says “Error”. And no information is provided. Can someone please help me?

Let me be more clear. I can’t even build the packaged application. As soon as it starts, it gets a few files in and then the popup comes up. I am under pressure to get this done and I need help ASAP

Now I get “Error during deployment: Source “D:\working\portalv2\OHCUtilities’ exists but is a directory. It’s supposed to exist, since it is a project that is part of the EAR

Firstly, can you please go through this FAQ and make sure the connector is set up properly:-

I verified that I comply with the instructions, but I still get the “exists but is a directory” error

I have no compile errors or warnings, and the packaged archive process gets about 1/2 way through before it picks one of my projects and says it exists but is a directory. Please assist.

This problem was related to enabling maven in the projects. Once I disabled maven this problem ceased.

markc, thank you for following up. We haven’t added full Maven support to MyEclipse yet but are considering it for a future release.
