Upon installing MyEclipse, an alert box with one button (OK) comes up declaring that it will restart eclipse. AT THE SAME TIME another box “Subscription Key Information” comes up. The only thing you can do is click on OK from the first box. Then after that you cannot click on anything and your eclipse is rendered useless. I tried kicking it in the guts (windows task manager), but the same sequence of events happens at next start up.

    VERY CLEVER!

I’d post a screenshot but this forum doesn’t allow attachments.

Please try starting by adding -clean on the command line one time:
eclipse -clean …rest of startup args…

    That should fix the problem.

Thanks. that has fixed it. Hopefully this will be fixed in the final release so that others don’t experience the same problem.

What i don’t understand is how can the eclipse platform permit another modal dbox to pop up while another one already exists :/

    That’s just bad.
