Same thing happens when I attempt to deploy a war file to the MyEclipse Sandbox Tomcat, Tomcat instance or custom location. I’m including Hibernate jars, and various other jars.

No matter where I try to deploy I get the following errors:

“Deployment is out of date due to changes in the underlying project contents. You’ll need to manually ‘Redeploy’ the project to update the deployed archive.”

    Deploying exploded works fine.

This is a big problem for me and I need help ASAP.

    Thanks,
    Frank

    Frank,
Can you completely remove the deployment (undeploy), refresh the project by right clicking on it and then try redeploying. Does it work ?

Incase the problem persists, can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > installation Details and paste the information here for me,

    That worked

It’s not very clear that you have to do that. Does MyEclipse lock in a setting (for say the sandbox) that you have to go through the refresh if you switch deployment types? Why doesn’t it just do it automatically?

This should happen automatically but maybe your project was locked or something. I guess you shouldn’t run into this again. Anyway, glad it worked.
