I’m having an issue with MyE 5.5.

Specifically, due to MyE hanging during a WebLogic debug session (once I click the red “stop” box – a new problem), it now is very slow to start (MyEclipse, that is).

Also, when I shut down MyE, it leaves the Eclipse.exe and Javaw.exe processes running so that when I try to start it again, I get the workspace in use error.

When I clear those processes (Vista), MyE starts VERY slowly.

Any ideas what could be going on?

This all started to happen when trying to close Weblogic debug sessions.

Hi Mork,
1. Have you tried -clean ?
2. If that doesn’t work, try running MyEclipse with JDK 6.0_02 from Sun’s site. This provides some better results on Vista for the time being and may help the problem.
3. Try switching your workspace.

Let me know if the problem persists.

The -clean seems to have fixed it.

Not sure what got corrupted, but it’s better now.
