    Hi everybody,

I’ve recently discovered My Eclipse and decided to try it.

I’ve got no problems with the installation or the configuration of Tomcat & Friends 😛

I can deploy projects and browse everything I want. But when I use the preview function (with the J2EE perspective), I can only see the HTML on my JSP pages and I can’t “browse” my pages (clik on a link, or submit a form).

When I manually move JSP pages to the Tomcat root and open my web browser, I’ve got everything working (I can see the JSP, I can click links and post forms).

So I suspect that I’ve missconfigured something linked to the plugin.

How can i solve it? I’m using Eclipse 3.2 and the latest MyEclipse.

    Thanks for the support.

    Matt 😀

    Matt,
You have everything working. Preview is intended as an immediate translation of your page on the fly, it is not “run”, so navigation and full evaluation of the page is not supported. The preview pane is mostly for HTML designers and JSP designers that have a lot of HTML in their pages. But for script-heavy pages, it’s just best to run them.
