    Hello,

    i use MyEclipse 3.8.5, Tomcat 5.5.4 and jdk1.5.0_02 – works fine.

Now i use MyEclipse 4.1.1 with the same tomcat and the same jdk (it is a jdk, not a jre), but a problem occur.

I can start Tomcat, but i can’t stop tomcat using therefor the myeclipse-toolbar. The configuration in both eclipse-Version is the same.

    Any idea ?

    Thanks

    Volker

Please explain in more detail what you mean you can’t stop it. What happens?

Ahh, are you running Tomcat in “Run” mode? This is a known bug, you need to run it in debug mode. Go back to your Tomcat connector settings, go to Launch and set it to debug.

ok. runnning tomcat in the “debug” works. But i prefere to run tomcat usually in the run mode.
Do you eliminate the bug in the next release ? When do you think, the bug is eliminated ?

    Thanks

I’m pushing hard to get it fixed in 5.0 as it’s a real problem.
