Is there a problem with the most recent code base? My workspace was working fine and now I am getting errors about files being locked on deployment. Tomcat is stopped and I still get the deploy failure. I have cleaned projects and it is still the same.
Found it! A jar had been removed from the buildpath that contained a listener registered in the web.xml. The message that popped up in the dialog box was *bogus* because there were *no* locked files *and* stopping/starting the server fifty times only wasted an hour! I hate it when I screw myself like this and then some freaking one off message tells me to start chasing rabbits through the forest.
