I am running Windows XP, Eclipse 3.0.2, MyEclipse 3.8.4, and using the Weblogic application server plugin, which has worked perfectly for almost a year. Now I am getting the following console message when I startup Weblogic via MyEclipse (the little head & running man icon).

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ License Exception $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    Unable to start WebLogic Server!!
WebLogic: license has expired on Wed Sep 21 12:00:00 MDT 2005!

My weblogic license is not, in fact, expired. I can start it correctly from the command line, etc. I have even installed a new licence key from BEA. My server works, but I can’t start it from myEclipse.

Coincidentally, my MyEclipse subscription is up for renewal (I am getting the 30 day warning message now).

I just updated my licence and upgraded to MyE 3.8.5.
    Still getting this exception.

I found my problem: I have multiple WL installs and was pointing to two different ones in the configuration of the home and installation directories.

    Please close this. 😀
