I’m a participant in Ford Motor Company’s (Java Center of Excellence) “MyEclipse Proof-of-Concept” exercise.

We are not seeing a rich palette of code inspection and/or code review capability bundled with MyEclipse.

    Are we missing something?

    Marvin,

What sorts of features are you expecting, specifically?

    Scott,

Let’s use the Eclipse ‘findBugs’ plugin as an example static analysis code inspection feature set:

    Marvin,
Thank you for the example, we have a better idea of what you are asking about. While you are certainly free to add plugins that support this functionality (and Eclipse 3.2 is slowly adding smarter and smarter compiler settings to help with these types of warnings) MyEclipse does not explicitly ship functionality like this right at the moment.
