Hi, I’m trying to install the plugin on myeclipse blue 10.6 but i’m getting the following error when i add the plugin url.
“Communication with repository http://dist.springsource.org/release/GRECLIPSE/e3.7/ failed.”
Then i try with other plugin “http://eclipse.processing.org/plugin/site.xml” and get the same error.
¿How can i resolve it?
My myeclipse version is 10.6. My O.S is win7.

We do not provide intrinsic support for third party plugins, but we will try to assist you in this case.
We could not replicate the issue in MyEclipse 10.6 at our end.
Are you behind a firewall or proxy ? If yes then you can set proxy settings here : from MyEclipse menu click on Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections.
Alternatively, If you can find an archived update site of the plugin which works in Eclipse Indigo, download it. Once the plugin is downloaded as zip file, Go to MyEclipse Configuration Center > Software > Add Site > Add from Archive, select the zip file and follow the wizard. You can also use the “Dropins” method to install a plugin to MyEclipse.

Thanks for your quick response. Myeclipse’s network configuration is ok. It appears to be a provider communication problem. I got the archived version insted and works.
