Maybe it would be a good idea to give a warning whenever one tries to start a server that is associated with a project that has compilation errors.
Conceptually, this is the same kind of thing that a warning is displayed whenever you try to launch a server when there are dirty editors in your project.
I have been bitten by this ‘problem’ on a few occasions. Launched my server, navigated deep into my application only to stumble upon a “java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problems”. I know I should have looked for the red cross in my project structure, but a more explicit warning would probably not hurt.
