Ever since upgrading my Mac-Intel to MyEclipseIDE 5.0 (GA), my Swing components do not paint. For example, I had an existing simple application that displays a label and a button. When I run the Swing App, the label paints, but the button doesn’t. I tried other controls as well (ComboBox, List, etc.) with the same results.

My Intel Mac has the latest version of Java 5 that is available for download from Apple (release 4 I believe).

Has anyone seen this? Is this a known issue?

I don’t quite follow, is this an issue with viewing your forms in design mode, or viewing them or run mode? Or a general concern against all the Swing-based apps?
