    Could not create JVM.A configuration error occured during start up.please verify the preference field with the prompt

    This was the error i got during the start up of Websphere.

    Please help me out

    Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

    What version of Websphere are you working with? Have you gone through this link:-

    i m getting same error as David, I am using webspher 6.1 , eclipse 6.5 not able to start Websphere geting confugartion error

    i am not sure from where it is taking this parameter( C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\bin) , which screen i need to chnage , i am newto eclipse

    Kindly guide how to fix this

    Can you go to Windows > Prefs > MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench > Servers > Web Sphere > Web Sphere 6.1 and make sure the connector looks like this:-
