I tried configuring the javascript formatting as instructed at https://www.genuitec.com/tech/web-scripting/using-source-formatting-for-javascript, and went to Windows>Preferences>MyEclipse>JavaScript>Code Style>Formatter. However, there seems to be no way to affect the formatting of modern javascript constructs such as “class”. For example, in the “Braces” tab of the profile editor, there is no option for setting the brace position after a “class declaration”. Is there no way of doing this kind of configuration, or is there something wrong with my installation?

    ptesavol,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue with JS formatter. Currently, even with Eclipse, I do not see the formatting working for class construct in JavaScript. I have filed a report with the dev team to look into it.
We will keep you posted when the support is out.

Can you please also share with us more details about the other modern javascript constructs apart from class for which you want the formatter to work?
