I’m new to MobiOne. I want to know if it is posible to connect the application so that I can use SharePoint as a backend database or to sync my data to/from SharePoint. If so, does anyone has an example? I just need a really small push. Thanks in advance.
Hi kalehm,
It is doable but will require a good bit of javascript development for your custom app logic. MobiOne creates HTML5 Apps built on top of the cordova/phonegap runtime api. This configuration provides the mechanisms for an offline small lightweight database application. Note I use the term “small lightweight” intentionally as a caution. Lastly I’m not sure if you need secure access to your sharepoint server. I know of one user that has implemented an oauth interface to sharepoint. We do not have any sharepoint app examples at this time.
