I recently installed myeclipse and made some changes in the eclipse.ini.Here is my eclipse.ini
    -showsplash
    com.genuitec.myeclipse.product
    –launcher.XXMaxPermSize
    256m
    -vmargs
    -Xms800m
    -Xmx1600m
    -Duser.language=zh
    -XX:PermSize=128M
    -XX:MaxPermSize=256M

However when i try to start myeclipse it says Could not create java virtual machine. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Auntora

    Platform?
On Windows you probably can’t use -Xmx1600m, largest I saw was 1240m on W2k3 server
The -Xms800m is also rather large 😉
    Don’t know about linux/mac though.
