Hi – I’ve had this problem twice this week where I start up myEclipse and any open files do not show, but have the error “Could not open the editor: Invalid thread access” showing on them (see below for full error message).

I’m not sure if it’s something to do with myEclipse updating as it has happened when I’ve been asked for my proxy details, and presumably it wasn’t getting through the proxy prior to that.

The first time this happened, I ended up reinstalling myeclipse and deleting the .metadata folder from my workspace, but I don’t want to do this every time this happens.

I’m in the middle of a big project with looming deadlines, so any help would be most grateful.

Sorry that you are running into this issue.

1) Can you please share your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details? Paste them here for me.

2) How did you install MyEclipse ? Is it through Pulse/All-In-One installer or using the Archived Update Site?

3) Are you behind a proxy ? Can you please make sure the proxy settings are right ?
