    Hello,
This is my first time working with apps and MobiOne, so I’m a bit confused at the moment.

My question is, can I create my app and get it to a near-completed state, then go to test it on my iPhone before uploading to Apple and filling out the Digital Signature key?

I do want the app on iTunes, so I realize that i will need to use the digital signature before it goes up to iTunes, but can someone please advise on how I can get around this step right now if it’s possible?

To get a native app running on your apple device you will need a apple developer account. As you need to generate the provisioning profile for your app and assign your devices. Its the apple way to make it as complex as possible.

You can test your app as a offline web app on your device using app cache without having a developers account.

Hey Paul, thanks for your response!

So, essentially I’ll need to have my Apple account and fill out the Digital Signature key even if I’m not ready to put the app on iTunes, correct?

That’s correct. You can learn more about the build process in Making Apps Public doc
