Wondering if it is possible to create a new XML Template (so that it would appear in the select list with the 4 existing templates when you select New XML (Advanced Templates).

I have a requirement to be able to edit our own XML (with sets of possible values for each tag etc) and it would be great if I could simply create a template to be picked up by the Wizard for the MyEclipse XML Editor

    Any pointers?

There is no straight solution for this but what you can do is, write an eclipse plugin that extends editor/wizard extension and that would enable you to have what you are looking for.

Smart idea. Involves extra work though.
