I am not finding clear information on the support forum on MyEclipse 64 bit versions for Windows. I understand you can run a 32 bit version of MyEclipse on 64 bit Windows 8 but what is the most current supported true 64 bit MyEclipse version to utilize more memory? Is there any loss of features running a true 64 bit version of MyEclipse? If so what will we lose of the Professional MyEclipse version?

If there is a loss of some features can I install a 32 and a 64 bit version of MyEclipse on my workstation and still use a single license?

    sburesh,

Due to technical constraints, the 64-bit version of MyEclipse on Windows will not include Visual Designers, the REST Explorer and JavaScript debugging.

When running the installer, it will prompt you to select 32 bit or 64 bit install.Choose 32 bit instead of 64 bit. Please install it to a different location. Yes,you can use a single license.

Let us know if you see any issues.

    sburesh,

For MyEclipse 2013, you need to delete the MyEclipse entry from ‘C:\Users\<username>\.deliverycenter.installs’ file and then rerun the MyEclipse 2013 installer, choose the 32 bit option and follow the wizard to install another copy.

Let us know how it works for you.
