Can i insert my own ant tasks into xdoclet-build.xml file that MyEclipse generates? I assume I can, but I wanted to check to make sure.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ron

Yes sort of. That is you can manually modify the Xdoclet ant task but be warned that if you “touch” the XDoclet properties of your project, the ant script is overwritten. What I do when I have manually modified my xdoclet-build.xml is backup it up. Then if I accidentally touch the XDoclet properties (no changes) and it replaces the previous xdoclet-build.xml file, I can restore the former version.

I’m curious what kind of mods do you make?

One of the things I would like to add in is a task to kick off a middlegen (see a post of mine in the request bucket) or the Hibernate version of it.

Please feel free to submit an enhancement request on the Features Forum. My boss reads it daily and takes user feedback super seriously.
