I’d like to add a new query using a customize generator during scaffolding. Is that possible?
I can see the jet files are under crudCommon/templates/crud/method folder. I’d like to add some other implementations… what are the steps i should do to add a new function and a query.

We’re looking into this but I’m afraid that we don’t have any information, right now, other than what is in the customization tutorial, which isn’t what you need. Customization is really aimed at modifying existing code generation templates rather than adding new generation capabilities.
You may be better off, for now, just modifying the generated code rather than trying to add new generation capability. However, if we have more information, we’ll let you know and/or update the help text.

A quick update on this. After some investigation, we’ve discovered that the customization capability is designed to allow customization of the generated code, not to add new generation capability. It looks like that would be a technically difficult task but you are welcome to request a new feature on our Feature Requests forum.
