I want to customize the toolbar (I want to add the “Save All” button to the toolbar). I tried the Customize Perspective but found that did not do the trick. How can I add a toolbar button to an existing toolbar?

Interesting question. I don’t know that you can. Menu items and tool bars are configured in the deployment descriptors of the corresponding plugin. I don’t know of a user-configurable way to do this. Anyone else?

This capability is not directly available through MyEclipse or Eclipse at this time. I have entered it as an enhancement request and we will coordinate with the OTI Eclipse team as a general platform feature request.
