I have two issues with my CVS integration since i’ve installed myeclipse:

    1. My web projects all show up has having changes (i have the default label decorations tuned on). The reason that the web projects show up this way is that there is a .myeclipse directory in each web project. I can’t check this file into cvs (actually i can check it in, but the change flagt never goes away) or update it and it always shows up as changed. How do i fix this? The ‘add to cvs ignore’ is not enabled out – this is a cvs directory (apparently empty).

    2. I also have an ejb project that has a default package and several pieces of the package name with the same issue ( I see: >com, >com.nxtrend, >com.nxtrned.bizlinx, etc…). Once again i can’t check these in or get rid of the ‘package has changes’ decoration.

    thanks,
    Jay

    Jay,

When you add web project capabilities to one of your projects, a .mymetadata file is created and the .project file is modified to add additional builders. However when you sync with CVS both these changes should be picked up and checked in. Are you trying to synchronize a the project level, or are you trying to do it file by file? The project level should catch all the ‘dot file’ mods.

For 2, you shouldn’t be trying to sync each level in the tree, just the project as a whole. Does that work?
