This isn’t specifically a myeclipse question although i use myeclipse but I had a question about using CVS within my myeclipse projects. Sometimes I have a file that flags as dirty even though when I go to the sync with repository view its an exact match. If I do an update that doesn’t clear the dirty flag. Is there a way to clear the dirty flag on a particular file when this occurs? Or do an update and overwrite my current file?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,
The problem is that sometimes MyEclipse and other plugins will encounter an action that will cause a project file to regenerate, even if it’s still the same so when you do the compare it’s textually the same, but the timestamps are different. In that case you can either commit the change or override your copy from the repository, either way is fine.
