If I try to debug an application on WAS 6.0 when security has been turned on, I get no output on the console. This is different to when the application server is unsecured.

I’ve looked at how RAD 6.0 works and it offers the option of a username/password to connect to the server when it is secured. Is something like this necessary for MyEclipse, or is there a way around this security?

    Thanks,

    Ian

Would it be possible for you to find out? It’s hard to use the plugin for debugging apps when I can’t get it into debugging mode, or see any of the logs.

    Thanks,

    Ian

Ian did you follow our tutorial on how to setup WAS’s console output for MyEclipse in here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-67.html

If you did, I wonder if there is are additional settings in there when configuring WAS to run in Secure mode, maybe additional sets of log files you need to redirect as well?

Out of curiosity, why do you need to *develop* in secure mode?
