I wanted to debug my application on Sunone Web Server(SWS) 6.1 , but i dont have a connector for that. The SWS is working on local machine, still I am not able to connnect. Can i use some other connector to achieve the same.

If there is some plugin for this, please tell me about the same. Or will this be included in the next version of myeclipse?

    Early answers will be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Piyush.

    Piyush,
We do not support Sun One APp Server 6.1 and I am not aware of a connector for it, sorry for the inconvenience. And we most likely will not be including a connector given how old that app server is and not supporting the JSR-45 debugging spec.

    Hi Riyad,

Is there any way I can use any other connector, which can be configured for using Sunone web server 6.1.

Sunone web server being used by many companies, this connector should be built and supported.

    Thanks,
    Piyush.

    Piyush,
Unfortunately no other connectors will likely work with Sun ONE 6.1. But since the app server does not even support the JSR-45 spec, there is no hope of debugging with that app server.

That being said, if you merely wanted exploded deployment support, you *can* already do this with a custom location exploded deployment. When you go to create your deployment, select a Custom Location deployment, and deploy it to the Sun ONE directory. You will have to start/stop Sun ONE yourself, but MyEclipse will handle the deployment.
