I’m using Red Hat Linux and generally connect MyEclipst to an application Launcher in my toolbar. It doesn’t like blanks in the path name. Users have to remember to override the default name or use a workaround if we forget….

Please change the default path name to not contain any blanks for future releases.

I am not sure what is the issue you are facing. The default path is a configurable option available to the user and the user can always change it. If your request is that the default location be changed for all future releases; well, that is a management decision and this is not the right forum.
