    Hi!

We use the Eclipse default text editor to edit xml files. The basic editor font is set to “Courier New” 10 pt.

Now suppose the following: MyEclipse is freshly started. I open an xml file by rightclick > open with > text editor. The font gets set to a Dialog font (not proportional). The only way to get the “Courier New” font for this xml file is to keep the file open and restart MyEclipse. The xml file opens on MyEclipse startup with the correct “Courier New” font. Any xml file that gets open from this moment has the correct “Courier New” font.

Maybe someone has seen this problem before. Any help is appreciated.

    With regards
    Stefan

    Stefan,
This is a know issue that has already been filed for the dev team. It would be fixed in the 7.0 release.
