Can you please post a definitive time-line for the inclusion of visual web page designing support in the mac/linux platforms? I noticed that the Road Map has changed, and that there are no longer plans to support the visual designer in non-windows platforms. It is very frustrating for those of us not using windows. We feel like second class citizens. Also, can you explain what the hold up is? If it makes a difference, I am a paid subscriber.

    Thank you.

I wish we could but the work is still in the research phase. We’re actively working on it but there are several technical challenges that don’t allow us to put an exact timeline on when the work will become product. All we know for sure at this point is that it won’t be ready for 4.1 next month. Sorry for the continued delay, but we’re solving the issues we encounter as quickly as we can.

I’d like to add that this isn’t the only feature we are working on, so every release that goes by, while it might not have the visual designer on Linux yet, does include tons of new features, so there is always progress in every area happening.
