Do I use an existing connector, which connector would i pick?
I have the sun one web server 6.1 installed locally on my machine?

You can deploy by using a Custom Location deployment.

You will not be able to start/stop Sun ONE 6.1 from within MyEclipse. You will have to do that externally. However you will be able to use the deployment tool with a Custom Location deployment to deploy your app to it.
