    Hello Sir/Ms

I would like to deply my applications to a Sun One Web Server 6.1, iPlanet Web Server 6.1, how would I accomplish that?

Could I deploy to this webserver through the web/remotely or does the webserver have to installed locally on my machine?

What if I had a samba desktop mapping to the server which is physically in my lab? Could i still deploy using one of those connectors?

    Regards

When you go to create the deployment, be sure to select a “Custom Location” deployment, this way you can deploy your app wherever you want.

You can deploy remotely *only* if you can mount the remote directory locally to a local share. MyEclipse won’t connect to your running app server and upload your app to it.

Absolutely, this is a good setup. Just use the Custom Location deployment I mentioned and you can put your deployment anywhere.
