I’m just evaluating MyEclipse, and I can’t get the tabs to show up when editing html files. For JSPs, I get the “Source” and “Preview” tabs at the bottom of the file, but for html files, there is nothing. Even when I right-click on the html and choose “Open With…MyEclipse HTML Editor”.

This IDE will compete head-to-head with Visual Studio.net in my organization, so I need the HTML edit/preview stuff to work.

Any ideas as to what is going on?

Could you post your system profile using the “Insert” button on the post form. Also could you see if there are any errors in your eclipse log (<workspace>/.metadata/.log)? What version of windows, office, Internet explorer do you have?

I figured it out. It was XMLBuddy. Once I uninstalled it (it’s redundant anyways, once MyEclipse is installed), the Visual Designer started working fine.
