How can I completely detach my MyEclipse installation from an old Cloud Connect IDE distribution. Every new project I try to start automatically uses the Cloud Connect IDE installation root. Cloud Connect no longer exists and we currently do not have/want an SDC package and we need to get rid of the old one.
Also, once we get rid of Cloud Connect , will our existing projects still work?

Your projects will still work as they are separate from your tool stack, however detaching an Eclipse/MyEclipse is not a simple matter (mainly because CloudConnect was disabled many months ago).

We suggest installing an SDC deployment behind your firewall and setting up a MyEclipse package there. This will give you complete control over your MyEclipse installations.
