I wrote a small software that makes some features that is not working in my software and the worst the behavior is complete diferente in version 2.3 x 2.5 of mobione.

In version 2.3 in test center everthing works, like hide the button after someone click on it and show a label “wait” and then reverse after the page is displayed.
I use the “Form Result Type ” = “Web Page UI” and when the user clicks “return” button in android or in the link “Back” the software restart again.
But when running in a Galaxy S3 with android version 4.1.2 I the hidden button and visible the label doesn´t. ( project testw )

When I compile with mobione 2.5 the behavior of my project ( consulta10.zip) when I press Back ou button back ( android ) instead of re-start the program take a moment and crash. But exactly the same project compiled with Mobione 2.3 this button works well.

Let’s start with testw project. I don’t know exactly how your app is supposed to perform. So I made this screencast of the project running in the mobione 2.5 simulator http://screencast.com/t/FvOKarmnLx (test center is deprecated and we do not use it any longer).
I built the project and ran it on nexus 5/android 4.4. It behaves exactly as in the simulator. I did not notice any restart or other problem when I used the custom back link or the device’s back button. I will try it on an old nexus s later and will update if I see any problems. Let me know if there is something specific that I’m not understanding. I have asked Octavio to review this as well. Also please share any screenshots or other information to make it more clear what might not be working correctly – pure text descriptions are hard to follow as we don’t know you app like you do.

I just consulted Octavio on your previous post that had issues http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?p=22193#p22193. I did not look closely at your testw implementation but from the other link our team found flaws in your projects. I’m not aware of any changes between mobione 2.3 and 2.5 other than improvements.

Let me encourage you to abandon the form Web UI result and switch to returning a data result in json (preferrably) or other structured form. We are going discontinue the Web UI result asap.

I opened this new topic because the behavior with the new version occurs.

I run the testw program in my Galaxy and you can see the film thru this link. The first time ( sometimes the second e third times ) the “wait”message appear and after that it doesn´t work ( the button doesn´t become unvisible and the message doesn´t appears as you can see )

You can see the film running in my cell phone ( galaxy S3 with android 4.12 ) with a version of my program compiled with de mobione 2.3 ( consulta_2_2.mp4 ) and the version mobione 2.5 consulta10_crash.mp4. You will be able to see what happen after I press the “Back” link or button.

I use the Web Page UI as a form result type because when a tried using the widget HTML the layout ( as you can see in the films ) doesn´t was the same.
There was many spaces between lines and I could not see the rigth side of the page ( horizontal scroll )
