Being new to MyEclipse, I’m wondering if there is a way to make the design view maximized by default when I open a JSP for editing.

I would prefer to disable (or minimize) the Visual Designer when I open a JSP and have the default mode be the design view.

I have searched the options in Preferences and have not been able to find if this can be specified.

Thanks in advance for help or suggestions anyone may offer.

You can go to Windows > Pref > General > Editors > File Association and associate the *.jsp file with the MyEclipse JSP Editor.
