I’ve seen several instances where I’m editing a method and the entire rest of the class goes away. This seems to be only visual because if I close the source file then re-open it, all the code appears again. Has anyone else seen this?? It is driving me nuts. I downloaded the 5.5.1.GA plugin installer with a fresh Eclipse3.2.2 install.

B, believe it or not this is a feature in Eclipse that has finally (for 3.3) been removed from the toolbar. The issue is outlined here, and how to turn it off:
