    Hi,

I installed eclipse 3.1.2, then myeclipse 4.1. Do I need to install the mywl plugin for weblogic, or is that incorporated in myeclipse?

I downloaded the mywl zip file, and it will create the following plugin dir:
    – gr.forthnet.eclipse.plugin.weblogic_1.0.9

However, I already have the following plugin dir:
    – gr.forthnet.eclipse.plugin.weblogic_1.0.11
which looks like a later version.

But… I thought I downloaded the latest version of mywl from sourceforge. Frankly, I’m a bit cornfused….

Does someone know which mywl is current, and whether I need to install it?

btw – I *do* have the weblogic start/stop/force icons on my toolbar, so I think I’m covered – I just want to know how it got there.

    Thanks,
    Josh

    Josh,
MyEclipse already supports WebLogic, check Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > Application Servers > WebLogic <VERSION>

We don’t know what the MyWL plugin is.

    Riyad,
Thanks for the confirmation. MyWL is a plugin for weblogic for eclipse – http://mywl.sourceforge.net/.

Discussing this with my new team members today I discovered that none of them use myeclipse – so to use weblogic within eclipse they use mywl, which they said I needed. But since I *am* using myeclipse, I don’t need mywl.

    Thanks again,
    Josh

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. I hope you are able to convert your teammates to MyEclipse and help save them some time 😉
