We found that your app appears to be a pre-release, test, or trial version with a very limited feature set. Apps that are in beta form, or that are for demonstration or trial purposes only, are not appropriate for the App Store and are not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.

It would be appropriate to complete, remove, or fully configure any partially implemented features and/or to remove any references to “demo”, “trial”, “beta”, or “test” in your application description and release notes, and from within the app.

If you are interested in conducting a beta trial for your app, Ad Hoc distribution is available to broaden your test user base. Information on Ad Hoc distribution is available in the iOS Developer Program User Guide.

Hi everyone, This came back from mt latest submission. Its not a new app but a update to existing one already in the store. Its the 3rd update so not sure what they mean about its beta? Does it mean that the binary has the fault or the description of the app is wrong?

Or is it a problem during the build process? No clue

I love these really helpful rejection emails. For what there worth they might as well not bother. Its been a crappy week as Apple seem to be rejecting everything i upload and giving me absolutely no clue on how to fix it!

Any help would be really great

    Thanks

    Paul

Ok just figured it out! Its the title!!

The app is for a pilots guide to a Robinson R22 Beta II helicopter. They have rejected the word beta!

It went through the first 2 releases! I so hate the Apple review process. I wonder if its worth using the appeals process or just uploading a new version with a reviewers note explaining the title.

    Thanks

    Paul

Just explain it in the notes. I wish I could share your pain, but after 6 apps and dozens of updates, I haven’t yet gotten one of those fun notices.

Thanks, yes i just sent a message from the resolution centre expaining the word beta in the title and hey presto it was in the store last night!

I just got to remember next time to write a little note to the reviewer……

    Thanks
