Hi,
I’m just wondering if people having the same problem as me when deploying EAR to app.server as a Packaged Archive — took around 30 mins to finish the deployment. But when I deploy it as an Exploded Archive, it takes no time at all to finish the deployment.
FYI: I’m using JBoss 4.0.4 GA, MyEclipse 5.1.0 GA, Eclipse 3.2.1, JDK 1.4.2_10-b03.It will be great if anyone can shed the light for me.

Jane 😀Hmm, 30 mins doesn’t sound right. Does it take this long for any EAR packaged deployment or just this one project? Are there any errors in your error log that might point out what is happening <your_workspace_dir>/.metadata/.log
Hi,
I looked at the log that you pointed out, but there is no error or anything related to the deployment.
I’ve also tried to deploy another project’s EAR packaged deployment — it took a long time as well to finish.Funny thing is the Exploded deployment does not take a long time to finish.
Any idea what’s wrong here?
