Hi,
I’m just wondering if people having the same problem as me when deploying EAR to app.server as a Packaged Archive — took around 30 mins to finish the deployment. But when I deploy it as an Exploded Archive, it takes no time at all to finish the deployment.
FYI: I’m using JBoss 4.0.4 GA, MyEclipse 5.1.0 GA, Eclipse 3.2.1, JDK 1.4.2_10-b03.I also tried to do File -> Export (as an EAR file) but it also took about 30 mins to finish.
It will be great if anyone can shed the light for me.

Is the project infact huge? How big is the final WAR file? I’m wondering if the exploded deployment is actually just silently failing and not really deploying the project.Riyad,
I think the project is deployed correctly (because after it is deployed, I can run the web service).
Anyway, my colleague set the JDK path to 1.5 in my path (to run eclipse), and voila it’s get deployed in less than a minute!Hope this helps anyone else who has the same problem as me.
