I have installed myeclipse 8. But i need jvm 1.5.0.14. The cms we use is old and it needs jvm 1.5. I dont have option to change my jvm.

I am able to configure my project to use ‘User Library’ which refers to jvm 1.5.0.14.
My tomcat running inside myeclipse has been configured to use jvm 1.5.0.14.

But when i run javac and ant scrips i am unble to change the jvm. I am getting errors for class compatiblity for java 6.
Any help to how to configure myeclipse 8 to use jvm 1.5?

    nrahimunisa@yahoo.com,

You can set JRE 1.5. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Preferences > Java > Installed JREs. On the right hand pane, select [Add] and follow the instructions through the wizard. Also click on the checkbox for JRE1.5. This will ensure that by default you set the java compliance level to 1.5

    Hope this helps.
