    Hello everybody,

Quite new with MobiOne and the full version and so far i’m having fun, but today i encountered a problem and can’t seem to find the answer on google.
If anyone could help me, it would be appreciated.

I want to make a download button, in the way that once the user hits that button a file will start downloading from my website. So far from what i saw on different forums it seems there is no way, but then the Google app store seems to use a javascript code that allows android users to press the install button and automatically the app is downloading and getting installed.
I want something similar if possible 🙂

    Thank you!

    Hi huzy85,

Mobione apps enable you to develop your own custom logic. Thus it is possible to fetch the content of a file from your site via ajax web call. You can store it to the local filesystem using html app apis (will only work in native app). But if your intent is to install an executable file this will not work. For an example of an over the air installation see how our App Center Builder’s installer app works: https://www.genuitec.com/mobile/docs/buildiosapp/buildiosapp.html#installing_ios_app
