works OK for me. Are you behind a firewall ?

Also, go to tools -> internet options -> advanced tab. Under the browsing section, uncheck the box that says “Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages”. You should get some sort of HTTP status code showing up in the browser which should help pinpoint the source of your problem.

I have unchecked the show friendly tag. Now after clicking the “Diagnose Connection Problem”, it says
Windows couldnot access the website http://www.myeclipseide.com
Windows received an HTTP Error Message: 403 (Forbidden)

again, are you behind a firewall? It sounds like there is a proxy server in between you and the public internet.
