When doing a new HTML or JSP page, the generated page ignores the editor preference of “lowercase HTML tags”.

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when doing a new JSP page, and you have the wizard modify the web.xml file, the path in the “File Path for web.xml” doesn’t start where it should (that is to say it doesn’t start in the MyEclipse Web-root folder – it trys to find WEB-INF directy in the project’s root).

perhaps the editor setting is only for tag completion?
And you did not modify the template as you like it?

You’re correct that the “lowercase tags” preference is not applied to generated templates, only to tag completions within the editor. I’ve entered this as an enhancement request within our internal tracking system along with a smarter default for location of the web.xml file from the template engine.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
