We have used MyEclipse Blue v8.6 to replace RAD v7.0.
We found: sometimes EAR Libraries container missing entries on restart MyEclipse IDE.
This bug always blocks our development!

It seems this bug was reported to Eclipse WTP plug-in.
More details please refer to: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=301477
But there is NOT any patch to fix this bug for WTP v3.1 which is ship by MyEclipse Blue v8.6.

In RAD IDE, it has a WORKAROUND to resolve this problem by use “Java EE > Update EAR Libraries”.
More details please refer to: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21421122&myns=swgrat&mynp=OCSSRTLW&mync=R

The “Java EE > Update EAR Libraries” feature is missing in MyEclipse Blue.
Please help to fix this bug as soon as possible.

    Thanks,

    Wesley

    Wesley,

Thanks for pointing out this fix. Go to Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities. Then click Advanced and expand “MyEclipse Standard Tools”. Under this list, you will see a “WTP Extras” item. Check this box and click Ok followed by Apply in the parent dialog.

The Java EE > Update EAR libraries option should now be available.

    Hope this helps.

I have tried to use “Update EAR libraries” operation in MyEclipse.
Unfortunately, the workaround is not work in MyEclipse.

Could MyEclipse team provide a patch for MyEclipse Blue v8.6?
